Structure and Working Process

As shown in Figure 1, the central drive suspended thickener consists of a working bridge, small scrapers, a flow stabilizer cylinder, a sludge scraping truss, an overflow device, a central support, a driving mechanism, a scum scraper, a sludge scraper plate, and an electrical box.

Driven by the driving mechanism, the scraping arm rotates around the central axis of the tank. A set of sludge scraper plates installed on the scraping arm scrape the sludge settled at the bottom of the tank toward the central sludge collection pit while rotating with the scraping arm. At the same time, the scum on the liquid surface is concentrated in the tapered area formed by the scum scraper and the peripheral scum baffle, and then raked into the scum collection hopper by the scum rake and discharged out of the tank.
