Air flotation machine is a device for removing solid suspended solids, grease, and various colloidal substances from various industrial and municipal wastewater. This equipment is widely used for the treatment of industrial wastewater and municipal wastewater in oil refining, chemical engineering, brewing, vegetable oil production and refining, slaughtering, electroplating, printing and dyeing, etc.
Process principle and process:
1. The raw water enters the mixing reactor and a reagent (degreaser or coagulant) is added to the mixing reactor to form a separable flocculent;
2. After pre-treatment, the sewage enters the air flotation device and is mixed with small bubbles (with a diameter range of 30-50um) released in the inlet chamber sewage and the air water mixture. These tiny bubbles adhere to the flocs in the sewage, forming an air float with a specific gravity smaller than that of water. The air floating body rises to the water surface and condenses into floating oil (or scum), which is scraped to the oil (slag) collection tank by an oil scraper (slag) machine;
3. The heavy solid particles in the inlet chamber settle here and are discharged through the sand discharge valve. The system requires regular opening of the sand discharge valve to keep the inlet chamber clean;
4. When sewage enters the water distribution area of the air flotation device, rapidly rising particles will float to the water surface; The particles that rise slowly separate in the corrugated inclined plate. Once a particle contacts the corrugated inclined plate, under the action of buoyancy, it can rise against the direction of water flow;
5. All heavy particles will sink, and the sinking particles will be collected by the bottom scraper and discharged by regularly opening the sludge discharge valve.
