Overview
Screw Press Sludge Dewatering Machine can be widely used in municipal sewage treatment projects and water treatment systems in industrial sectors such as petrochemicals, light industry, chemical fibers, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, and leather.
Working Principle:
(1) Thickening: When the screw pushing shaft rotates, the multiple fixed and movable stacked discs arranged around the pushing shaft move relatively. Under the action of gravity, water is filtered out from the gaps between the relatively moving stacked discs, achieving rapid thickening.(2) Dewatering: The thickened sludge continues to move forward as the screw shaft rotates; along the direction of the sludge cake outlet, the pitch of the screw shaft gradually becomes smaller, the gap between the rings also gradually narrows, and the volume of the screw cavity shrinks continuously; under the action of the back pressure plate at the outlet, the internal pressure gradually increases. Driven by the continuous operation of the screw pushing shaft, the water in the sludge is squeezed out, the solid content of the filter cake keeps rising, and finally, the continuous dewatering of the sludge is realized.
(3) Self-cleaning: The rotation of the screw shaft drives the movable rings to rotate continuously. The equipment realizes a continuous self-cleaning process through the movement between the fixed rings and the movable rings, thus cleverly avoiding the clogging problem commonly existing in traditional dewatering machines.
