The working principle of the disinfectant dosing device is to use an electromagnetic diaphragm pump to dose trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) disinfectant solution (with a saturated available chlorine concentration of 1%) into the water body to be disinfected. This device features safe and reliable operation, small space occupation, and simple operation and management, so it is widely used in the field of water body disinfection.
I. Working Principle of the Disinfectant Dosing Device
II. Equipment Power Supply
The equipment uses an AC 220V power supply.
III. Chemical Preparation
Add 0.5 kg of trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) powder or tablets into the equipment, open the water inlet valve, add water until the liquid level reaches 1/2 of the liquid level gauge, and let it stand for half an hour. Then, a trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) disinfectant solution with an available chlorine concentration of 1% can be prepared.
IV. Usage Method of Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) Disinfection

V. Equipment Start-Up
Press the "Power" button, then press the "Operation" button to start the metering pump. (For local control, do not press the "Remote Control" button; otherwise, the output cannot be adjusted.) Adjust the metering pump pulse according to the required chemical dosage.
VI. Equipment Shutdown
Press the "Operation" button, and the system will stop chemical dosing. For long-term shutdown, press the "Power" button to cut off the system power supply.
VII. Precautions
During the normal operation of the equipment, inspect the liquid level of the equipment regularly to ensure there is sufficient chemical in the equipment. This prevents the pump from running idly for a long time, which could burn out the equipment.
VIII. Common Faults
-
Metering pump fails to feed chemicalsIf the equipment is not used for a long time, air may accumulate in the feed pipe. To resolve this: open the hose connection at the upper end of the metering pump, start the metering pump to discharge the air, reconnect the hose, and put the equipment back into use.
-
Metering pump malfunctionReturn the pump to the manufacturer for maintenance.
