Starch wastewater treatment equipment
A large amount of high-concentration acidic organic wastewater is generated during starch processing. This wastewater mainly contains soluble starch and a small amount of protein, which is generally non-toxic but has an extremely high COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) — typically ranging from 1000 to 30,000 mg/L — and an SS (Suspended Solids) content of around 1500 mg/L. If this wastewater is directly discharged into environmental water bodies, it will not only cause severe harm to the environment but also result in the waste of water resources. The State Environmental Protection Administration of China (SEPA) pointed out in the 10th Five-Year Plan Outline for National Environmental Science and Technology Development that research on wastewater pollution control technologies for the starch industry should continue to be regarded as a key priority. In response to the characteristics of starch industrial wastewater, efforts are being made to develop a starch wastewater treatment method that is rapid, efficient, and low in energy consumption.

Three-mesh belt filter press
The tension of the filter belt is achieved through an inflatable cylinder, which maintains constant tension for the entire filter belt without tension changes caused by fluctuations in feed volume, facilitating operation and management. The filter press is equipped with a pneumatic control system that automatically detects the position of the filter belt on the pressure rolls and performs automatic deviation correction. For wide-filter-belt filter presses, an automatic sludge feeding device is also equipped to ensure uniform sludge feeding into the filter belt, thereby improving filtration efficiency and extending the service life of the filter belt.

Galvanized wastewater treatment equipment
According to our factory’s years of engineering experience, the direct pressure filtration method can be used for one-step treatment of such high-concentration wastewater. This not only reduces the investment in sedimentation tanks but also ensures that wastewater of different concentrations is treated to stably meet the standards. When the sludge content in the influent is low, the water output of pressure filtration is still large. This method has been applied in a number of wastewater treatment projects, and after more than two years of operation, user feedback has been positive. The adoption of direct pressure filtration can save investment by more than 10% and reduce the floor area by 20%.
