A filter press utilizes the pressure difference on both sides of the filter cloth to force most of the water in the material to pass through the filter cloth and flow out of the machine body. Meanwhile, the material is retained in the filter chamber to form filter cakes, thereby achieving the purpose of filtration. During the filtration process, a significant pressure difference exists between the two sides of the filter cloth, which increases the filtration speed and reduces the moisture content of the filter cakes. Additionally, the use of a specially made filter cloth ensures that the filtrate is clear, resulting in a much better filtration effect compared to vacuum filters.
